Yes, Pilates is a great starting point for building strength, improving posture, and increasing flexibility. I break down each movement and offer options (regressions and progressions) so you can work at your own pace in any of my classes.
Wear something comfortable and easy to move in, like leggings or joggers and a fitted top. Pilates is usually done barefoot or in grippy socks for stability.
Just bring yourself, a water bottle, and a mat if you have one. Occasionally, we’ll use small props like resistance bands or blocks, but I will provide these.
Pilates can be a safe and effective way to support recovery and improve mobility. When you register with me you will fill out a Client Enrolment Form and based on your answers we will chat about your needs. I’ll make sure the classes are suitable and provide any necessary modifications.
Pilates is most effective when practised regularly. Multi-week blocks allow you to progress week by week, building strength, stability, and confidence through a carefully planned programme. By attending regularly, you'll gain more lasting benefits, while also becoming part of a supportive class community.
Please contact me for a Client Enrolment Form and let me know which class you would like to join. Once completed, this will inform me of any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions you may have that I need to be aware of.
